- RevenueCat – for managing subscriptions and purchases

ClearJar accesses certain Google user data via the Gmail API with your consent. Specifically, we read:

Gmail message metadata (e.g., sender, subject, date)

Gmail message bodies for transactional emails such as receipts, subscriptions, and refunds

This information is used solely to identify purchases, extract merchant names, amounts, and dates, and present spending insights in the app.

Data Storage & Retention

Full message bodies are cached only during processing and deleted within 24 hours. We permanently store only non-personal parsed fields (merchant name, amount, date) and Gmail message IDs to avoid reprocessing the same message.

Limited Use Compliance

We comply with Google’s API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not:

Sell Google user data

Share Google user data with third parties except as required to operate our service (e.g., secure cloud storage providers)

Use Google user data for advertising

Revoking Access

You may revoke our access to your Gmail account at any time from within the ClearJar app or through your Google Account settings at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions.

These services have access to limited information as required to perform their functions and are contractually obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purposes.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with advertisers or any third parties for marketing purposes. We will only disclose your information if required to:

- Comply with a legal obligation

- Protect and defend the rights or property of ClearJar

While ClearJar is not designed for children, individuals under 13 may use the app with parental consent. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 without such consent. If you believe we have unintentionally collected such data, please contact us immediately.
